Whenever you think about wanting to lose weight, or even just getting into better shape, cardio is usually the first thing that comes to mind. Cardio is not for everyone, so the thought of having to do so much cardio in order to shed a few pounds can be exhausting. While cardio can be beneficial in the process of losing weight, it is not the only exercise routine to help. Weightlifting can also be very helpful, and it includes other benefits than just weight loss and toned muscles.
Now that 2018 has arrived, we need to get back into the swing of things. The holidays graced us with good times, good food, and lots of memories to last through the coming year but the few extra pounds that we may have tacked on, must go. Healthy eating and exercise must return to our normal routine again!
