Like you, AGS has been shifting its business practices to meet these new and unprecedented times. As we all pivot, our focus will continue to be protecting the health and safety of our team members while simultaneously meeting the needs of our valued clients, practitioners, and providers.
As we work together toward that end and to help you provide safe, secure, private health and wellness genetic testing to your clients, patients, and customers, please make note of the following updates:
TEST TURNAROUND TIME
Effective immediately, the turnaround time for report delivery of all AGS Health & Wellness + PGx tests will be 6 to 8 weeks versus our standard of 2 to 3 weeks (the industry average is 8 to 12 weeks). This change comes as we work with our new US laboratory to finalize the validation and substantiation of AGS Health & Wellness Genetic Test chips. This must be done accurately in order to meet CLIA/CAP certification standards and verify the accuracy of all individual test results. While this is an important and lengthy process, it is essential to our mission and upholding the highest data security standards.
COVID-19 PCR TESTING
As you might imagine, laboratories around the world have been inundated with COVID-19 PCR and IgG/IgM Antibody Testing. As part of a new partnership with one of the fastest-growing laboratories in the United States, AGS is now offering both (see image below). This shift will allow AGS to continue expanding its health and wellness genetic testing services in the coming months, in addition to helping companies around the world meet the growing demands for accurate testing as they bring workers on line and students back into the classroom.
AGS PRACTITIONER & PROVIDER WHOLESALE PURCHASING
The AGS Practitioner & Provider Wholesale shopping cart will remain open with the awareness and understanding that all AGS Health & Wellness + PGx Genetic Profile Reports will be delivered back to you and/or your client approximately 6 to 8 weeks from the date test collection swabs are received by the AGS Genetic Testing Laboratory. This is a temporary change while we complete validation and substantiation, in addition to meeting the growing demands for COVID-PCR Testing.
