Dr. Chan Hoi Chung Samuel

AGS Medical Director

Dr. Chan Hoi Chung Samuel is a solo practice family doctor working in private practice with special interests in weight management, exercise prescriptions, treatment of medical co-morbidities of psychiatric patients and side effects of all medications. He got a master of science degree in endocrinology, a master of science degree in cardiology and a master of musculoskeletal medicine and rehabilitation. Besides, he got eight other diplomas in various disciplines, ranging from dermatology to pediatrics. He is the honorary clinical assistant professor of the department of family medicine of HKU. Dr. Samuel Chan got 13 sport instructor certifications from various organizations, including the title of certified strength and conditioning specialist of (National Strength and Conditioning Association) NSCA of USA. Currently, he is the master trainer of various sports instructor certification courses, including the personal trainer certification course and pilates reformer instructor certification course. Dr. Samuel Chan has given various lectures or workshops to doctors or health professionals regularly on topics relating to weight management, exercise prescriptions, mood disorders and side effects of medications relating to psychiatry, cardiology, endocrinology and orthopedic surgery. His articles were published in numerous magazines or newspapers.


Dr. Lai Chun Wan Jeffrey

AGS Medical Laboratory Director

Dr Lai Chun Wan Jeffrey has received his post-doctoral fellowship training in cancer genomics at the Queen Mary Hospital and the University of Hong Kong specializing in next-generation sequencing technology and human genetic variation detection. He has received his doctoral degree in biochemistry from Brigham Young University (Provo, Utah). He also received his master degree in molecular biosciences with an emphasis in bioinformatics and Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from the United States. He has over 13 years of laboratory experience in genetics research and over 10 years of computational experience in bioinformatics. He has authored and co-authored publications in internationally recognized peer-reviewed journals in the field of cancer, neuroscience, genetics and genomics research. He is a US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Board-approved National Registry Certified Clinical Chemist (NRCC), American Society for Clinical Pathology Board Certified Technologist in Molecular Biology and a registered Medical Laboratory Technologist. He is currently supervising the operation and the research & development of the AGS Laboratory.


Dr. James Mathur

AGS Scientific Advisory Board Member

Dr. Mathur completed his training in Internal Medicine at Mayo Clinic and holds certification with the American Board of Internal Medicine. He has over 17 years of clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings as a practicing physician. His academic study of genomics began as a biochemistry teaching assistant during his undergraduate training. His current areas of interest include clinical endpoints for designing and evaluating pharmacogenomic implementations, novel algorithm development in electronic medical records, and alternative health care delivery models. Dr. Mathur received his Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.

Dr. Diego Monzon, MD, MBA

Asia Pacific Business Development

Dr. Monzón is a passionate professional with outstanding integrity and ethical values. During his years as a medical student at Universidad San Carlos de Guatemala, Dr. Monzón became highly interested in the research of epidemiology and took extra courses in this field. These courses furthered his knowledge of epidemic tendencies and how the environment is related to human health. Dr. Monzón recently gained an M.B.A. in Business Administration to further his interpersonal and communication skills, strategic thinking and planning abilities, and global orientation of businesses. Dr. Monzón joins AGS to maintain and support business relationships in Singapore and surrounding cities.


Sharon Brack, HHC, AADP

Director of Genetic Nutrition

Sharon Brack is a clinically certified holistic nutrition and supplement expert with a passion for genetically guided wellness. She is a nationally recognized leader and innovator in the health and wellness industry for 17+ years; appearing on TV, print, and social media.  As the Director of Genetic Nutrition for Advanced Genomic Solutions and owner of her own concierge health counseling business, Sharon teaches what she preaches. Through genetically guided innovative testing, programs, and services, she empowers individuals to become their healthiest selves utilizing their very own DNA.  Ultimately, helping clients, physicians, and people of all ages discover their genetically ideal foods, supplements, exercise, and lifestyle choices. Sharon makes very personal genetic information actionable and understandable.  She approaches nutrition from an integrative, functional perspective and utilizes genetics to unlock the body’s potential to perform and heal on its own.  Sharon’s background in multi-specialty clinical nutrition combined with genetic proficiency has provided her with the tools to take the stress, confusion and guess work out of eating, working out and supplementation.  Sharon is a proud member of the American Association for Drugless Practitioners, National Academy of Sports Medicine, Arizona State University Alumni (2001) and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (2009).


James McGivern

Director of Research and Development

James McGivern is a biologist with over five years of research experience in molecular biology and genetics. James completed a Masters degree at Florida State University in 2017, where he studied the relationship between genes and the traits they affect. James performed next-generation sequencing and bioinformatics, and has contributed to and published several papers in peer-reviewed research journals.
James has worked in the genetics industry for the past year, integrating genetics with nutrition and exercise science, as well as how genes impact how people respond to medications.


Tiffany Cheung

Genetic Health Specialist

Genetic Consultant and BDM at AGS. She studied Microbiology, Immunology and Molecular Genetics in the States and assisted in Microbial Resistance research at Queen Mary Hospital and Hong Kong University. She is now responsible for the business development of AGS’s genetic products. Her mission is to push forward a more personalized preventive healthcare through the broad application of genetic testing and make it accessible to everyone.


Stephanie Yeung

Genetic Health Specialist

Stephanie Yeung received an Honor Degree from the University of Hong Kong and her MSc in Nutrition at the University of Sydney in Australia. She is a Registered Dietician in both Australia and Hong Kong. Prior to AGS, Stephanie worked in both the North Shore Hospital in Sydney and the famous Nutrition company in Hong Kong providing clinical nutritional consultations. She also served in the Hospital Authority Headquarters to promote business strategy and development. In her current role at AGS Stephanie holds regular nutritional seminars globally on Pharmacogenomics and Nutrigenomics. She has faith in the development in Nutrigenomics and is passionate about personalized health and wellness guidance to help create a healthier lifestyle.


Krystal Li

Genetic Health Specialist

Krystal Li is a Registered Dietician with a Masters Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Sydney. She has over 10 years of experience in nutritional counseling. At AGS she provides nutritional consultations to help individuals achieve optimal health based on their genetic makeup. Krystal is also a member of the Dietician Association of Australia.


Susanne Maughn

Genetic Health Specialist

Susanne Maughan is a certified Holistic Genetic Health Coach and Adult Onset Diabetes educator.  Her 20+ years of counseling utilizes genetically guided testing and consulting along with treating the person as a whole...not just their symptoms. Susanne received her training as a Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition - the world’s most cutting-edge Health Coach Training Program. During her training, she studied over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts. Her teachers included Dr. Andrew Weil, Director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine; Dr. Deepak Chopra, leader in the field of mind-body medicine; Dr. David Katz, Director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center; Dr. Walter Willett, Chair of Nutrition at Harvard University; Geneen Roth, bestselling author and expert on emotional eating; and many other leading researchers and nutrition authorities. Her education has well equipped her with extensive knowledge in holistic nutrition, genetic health coaching, and preventive health. Drawing on these skills and her knowledge of different dietary theories, she works with clients of all ages and stages to help them make lifestyle changes that produce real and lasting results by improving overall energy, balance, and health.


Scott Keppel

Genetic Health Specialist

Owner of Scott’s Training Systems (STS), a world-class fitness coaching facility in Chandler, Arizona. Nationally certified personal trainer through NASM and ISSA since 2004. Multiple presentations as NASM Fitness Expert at International NASM Conference. Scott has trained professional athletes to reach optimum levels of performance. AGS Brand Ambassador and AGS Genetic Summit Partner, 2018.

Additional certifications range from Pre and Post Natal Fitness, Breast Cancer Recovery, Power Plate, MovNat, Spitfire Sled training master programmer and NASM sled training.
